EDUKASI OBAT HALAL KEPADA MASYARAKAT MELALUI MEDIA DIGITAL

Abstract

Halal products that are often of concern are food products, but along with its development, not only food products are of concern to halal institutions, but it has led to medicine. Drugs produced by non-halal means will make drugs that should be halal become non-halal. The existence of halal and non-halal drugs in circulation is generally unknown to the public, so knowledge about it is still minimal. Currently, there are still many people who do not know about the halalness of drugs, therefore education is needed to the public about choosing halal drugs. Education on the selection of halal medicines is needed to provide knowledge to the public on how to choose safe medicines. Halal medicine education through digital media is considered effective and practical because it will reach the audience. Education through digital media is an option to provide knowledge on how to choose halal medicines. Panorama Pagi from RRI Madiun is a digital media for educating the public about halal medicine. The activity which lasted for one hour was very interactive between the speakers, hosts and listeners from various circles. The enthusiasm for this activity can be seen from the questions that came from telephone calls, YouTube comments, and WhatsApp. Increased knowledge about halal drug selection can be one of the guarantees of drug safety for consumers
